The 2021 Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru is backward on the nose opening gradually with a mixture of red and black fruit iodine and pressed violet aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins fleshier than the Echézeaux and definitely more complex. Silky smooth in texture this fans out on the finish pure and persistent.
