Jasper Morris: 92-95 Points

No deeper in colour but a greater purity and intensity along with a few white peppers. Much mores seductive and coherent fruit across the palate fewer tannins and slightly more built on the fruit acid balance. Drink from 2027-2035.

Burghound: 91-94 Points

Once again there is a plethora of floral elements adding a touch of elegance to the spicier if not quite as restrained nose that blends both red and dark currant scents. There is perhaps a bit more refinement if less minerality to the generous and rich medium-bodied flavors that possess a seductive texture before culminating in a bitter pit fruit-inflected finish that is impressively long. Lovely. (Drink starting 2033)

Decanter: 93 Points

This ripe accessible wine has a surprisingly deep garnet colour and a markedly aromatic ripe cherry fruit with plenty of earthy complexity. The body is lighter than one would suspect from the aromas and there is plenty of fresh acidity but the finish is elegant and assertive with a lingering tannic grip. This site is sunnier than many of their holdings yet the grip and length are still eminently typical of the village. (Drink between 2025-2045)

Vinous: 91-93 Points

The 2021 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru seems to show more new oak on the nose strawberry pastilles redcurrant jus and raspberry. Quite floral. The palate is medium-bodied with very pliant tannins. This is one Grand Cru where I feel it lacks a bit of backbone and grip and find myself seeking more weight overall. Fine but I have a preference for other vintages. (Drink between 2025-2038)
